Zelpha Lee Bonney



Zelpha Lee Bonney passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2008 at St. Alexius Hospital in St. Louis. She had attained the age of 72 years.

Born April 4, 1936 in Douglas County, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Herman D. and Ivy E. (Hodges) Gott. She married Clark William Bonney and he preceded her in death.

Mrs. Bonney was a stocker for Walmart for the past six years.

Preceding her in death besides her parents and her husband were a son, Steven Bonney and a sister, Mary.
Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Haynes of St. Louis; one sister, Marie of California; four brothers, Neal Gott, Richard Gott, both of Springfield, Missouri, David Gott of the Phillipines and Phillip Gott of Rolla, Missouri; ten grandchildren, Stacy Bonney, Steven Bonney, Jr., Stephanie Bonney, Kenneth Haynes, Kandace Haynes, Kayla Haynes, Karina Haynes, Kira Haynes, Kristopher Carlin and Kelsey Carlin, all of St. Louis and two great-grandchildren, Lea Vize and Jaden Flowers.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at 9:30 A.M. at Southern Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

Friends may call on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and on Thursday, October 23, 2008 from 9:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the donors choice.
