Wilma Kathleen Rainwater of Millstadt, Illinois entered eternal rest on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family, having attained the age of 88 years and 21 days.

Born on November 10, 1926 in Big Sandy, Texas, she was the daughter of Dorsey 'Doss' Franklin and Emma Mae Clement, Nee Jackson. She was united in marriage to Hilman Albert Rainwater on June 25, 1942 in Corinth, Mississippi and he preceded her in death on November 19, 2009.

Wilma was a housekeeper at the nursing home in Millstadt, Illinois for many years.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Hilman Albert Rainwater; her brothers and sister, Sadie Murrell, James Clement, Cornell Clement and Floyd Clement and her grandson, Brian Young.
Surviving are her daughters, Betty Jean 'Jeanne' (Gerald) Young of Oak Grove, Missouri and Sandra Kay Shevlin of Smithton, Illinois; her grandchildren, David Young, Michael (Crystal) Young, both of Kansas City, Missouri, Jeffrey Shevlin of Millstadt, Illinois, James Albert (Amy) Shevlin of Smithton, Illinois, Sara (Phillip) Biffar of Hecker, Illinois, Amanda Johnson of California and Jonessa Johnson of New Mexico; her great-grandchildren, Adeline 'Addie' Schifferdecker, Samuel Shevlin, Claudia Shevlin, Lindsay Young, Barrett Young, Alicia Biffar and Maycee Young; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Friends may call on Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. and on Monday, January 5, 2015 from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 5, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Mt. Evergreen Cemetery, Millstadt, Illinois.
