William Michael Van Horn, Sr.

William Michael Van Horn, Sr. of OFallon, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois, having attained the age of 84 years, 11 months and 27 days.

Born in San Francisco, California on March 11, 1933, he was the son of Robert and Myrtle Van Horn, nee Page. He was united in marriage to Lorraine Ethel Davis on December 29, 1951 in Sonora, California and she survives his passing.

William was a steamfitter in the construction industry and a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 38.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his brothers and sisters, Delores Suelhohn, Robert Eaker and Maro Van Horn in childhood.

Surviving are his wife, Lorraine Van Horn of OFallon, Illinois; his children, Michell (Joe) Baker of Ellis Grove, Illinois and William Michael (Madeline) Van Horn of San Francisco, California; his grandchildren, Jeremiah Baker of Overland, Missouri, Sgt. William (Tiffany) Baker of Fort Hood, Texas and Sean Van Horn of Poughkeepsie, New York; his great-grandchildren, Malcolm Baker, Kirianna Baker and Landon Baker, all of Fort Hood, Texas, nieces, nephews and many friends.

All services will be private.

The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is assisting the family.
