William D. Davis

William D. Davis, 77, of Lenzburg, IL, passed away peacefully on Thursday May 30, 2024, in Mascoutah, IL. William was born on April 1, 1947, in Palmerton, PA to Harold B. and Joyce A. Davis, nee Nothstein and his parents precede him in death.

William served his country proudly in the United States Air Force and retired from his service at the rank of Captain. After his retirement, he continued to work at Scott Air Force Base in the BX. He pursued further education after retirement, studying horticulture and HVAC technology. He also served as a trustee on the Village of Lenzburg Board. In his spare time, William enjoyed gardening, attaining the distinction of Master Gardener from the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Pamela L. Davis, nee Callison; his stepchildren: Ethan Gurney, Skye (Tony) Quinn and Kyle (James) Brett; his siblings: Joann (Richard) Anderson and Michael (Rhonda) Davis and his step-grandchildren: Hayden Brett, Eric Brett and Callie Brett in addition to many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. 

No services are planned at this time. It was his wish to be cremated.
