William Dale Deatherage, Jr.

William Dale Deatherage, Jr. of Fairview Heights, Illinois passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois, having attained the age of 59 years, 8 months and 17 days.

Born in Granite City, Illinois, he was the son of William Dale and Margaret Ann Deatherage, Sr., nee Paschedag.

William was a welder for river transportation and a member of the National Rifle Association.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Surviving are his children, Catherine Deatherage of Fairview Heights, Illinois and Rachel (Jason) Bell of Bradenton, Florida; his sisters, Linda (Kevin) Ragan of Granite City, Illinois, Debbie (Kim) Fuller of Barnhardt, Missouri and Gina (Vince) Basile of Belleville, Illinois; his grandchildren, Bryce Deatherage, Stephanie Vegas and Dimitri Leingang, all of Fairview Heights, Illinois, Patrick Connelly, Matthew Connelly and Charlie Bell; his special friend, Tammy Lafferty of Belleville, Illinois, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 4:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church, 8307 State Route 160, New Baden, Illinois with Rev. David Manley officiating.

The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
