Born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 2, 1955, he was the son of William and Alberta Opal (Blaes) Einspanier.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Surviving are his mother, Alberta Einspanier; his brother, Joseph Einspanier of Webster Groves, Missouri; his sisters, Catherine (Steven) Moore of St. Louis, Teresa (Mark) Schlafly of Atlanta, Georgia and Susan (Randolph) Fauser of St. Louis and many friends.
