Thomas S. Houlihan, Jr., 85, of Belleville, born May 3, 1922, in East St. Louis, died Thursday, January 24, 2008 at Four Fountains Nursing Home, Belleville. Mr. Houlihan was a retired clerk for the Illinois Terminal Railroad.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas S. and Verna (Dougherty) Houlihan, Sr.

He is survived by his cousin, Mary Green and many friends.

The family requests that memorials be made to Hospice and will be received at the funeral home.

Friends may call at Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery Chapel, 10101 West Main Street, Belleville from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 28, 2008.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 28, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery Chapel with Father Thomas Neff officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Creason Funeral Home, Millstadt, is in charge of arrangements.
