Shirley Marie Overmeyer

Shirley (Wallace) Overmeyer sprouted her angel wings the morning of August 15, 2024, at 10:33am at Barnes-Jewish Hospital after an illness of a month to be healed as she took her last breath on earth and immediately reunited with my dad who became an angel on July 19, 2001. We miss this sweet lady.

Left to cherish Shirley’s memory are her stepdaughters, Carolyn Kay Bridges and Sherry Lee Titchenal; her grandchildren: Scott Kilzer, Paul Kilzer, Shawn Titchenal, Rozalyn Foster, Cody Overmeyer, Hunter Overmeyer and Hailey Overmeyer; her great-grandchildren: Logan Keeney, Connor Titchenal and Dylan Titchenal, Lydia Ballis, Chelsea Kilzer, Colin Kilzer and Aaron Jerashen.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Florence Wallacet, three sisters, one brother, her husband, Robert Overmeyer, her daughter, Christine Foster, her son, Gregory, her granddaughter, Christi Swift and her great-granddaughter, Katie Titchenal.

Graveside services will be held on Friday September 20, 2024 at 12:00pm at Fieldon Cemetery, South 1st St. in Fieldon, IL.
