Shirley M. Wilson of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at her home, having attained the age of 89 years, 6 months and 18 days.

Born on June 5, 1923, she was the daughter of Charles and Felma Marie Gard, nee Goodman. She was united in marriage to Robert C. Wilson and he preceded her in death on December 15, 1969.

Mrs. Wilson was a nurses aide at Jefferson Barracks Veterans Administration Hospital and a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church in St. Louis, Missouri.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Robert C. Wilson, her son, Michael Wilson and two brothers, Gene Gard and Charles Gard.

Surviving are two grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Friends may call on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Fey Funeral Home, 4100 Lemay Ferry Road, Mehlville, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Father Gary Faust officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.

The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
