Shelton Charles Charlie Etter

Shelton Charles "Charlie" Etter of Belleville, Illinois passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at his home having attained the age of 66 years, 2 months and 1 day.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri on July 14, 1952, he was the son of Jennie Etter, nee Price and the late Junior Etter. He was the loving husband of Karen Etter, nee Klohr. They were united in marriage on August 5, 1998.

Charlie was a loving and caring husband who brought joy and laughter to many and lived his life to the fullest. He was a coal miner with Peabody Coal.

Surviving are his loving wife, Karen Etter of Belleville, Illinois; his son, Ryan Vincent Fedder; his step-son, John Allen Reiling; his brothers, Ronald (Rhonda) Etter of Belleville, Illinois and Christopher (Michelle) Etter of Freeburg, Illinois; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dale and Carol Klohr; his brother-in-law, Larry (Kelly) Schneider, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is assisting the family.
