Rosemary Weinhold of Millstadt, Illinois entered eternal rest on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at St. Elizabeths Hospital in Belleville, Illinois, having attained the age of 80 years, 2 months and 11 days. Born in Columbia, Illinois on October 24, 1931, she was the daughter of Fred Schlemmer and Edna, nee Forsee, Schlemmer Ruppel. She was united in marriage to Wilbert C. 'Bill' Weinhold on May 14, 1949 at Trinity Lutheran Church in East St. Louis, Illinois.

Mrs. Weinhold was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Millstadt and the VFW Auxiliary Post 7980 in Millstadt.

Preceding her in death were her parents, a sister, Leona Schlemmer and a brother-in-law, Glen Weinhold.
Surviving are her husband, Wilbert C. 'Bill' Weinhold of Millstadt, Illinois; two sisters-in-law, Phyllis Story of Columbia, Illinois and Mary Ann Weinhold of Union, Missouri, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Friends may call on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the family and will be received at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Michael Kumm officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
