Rosemary M. Morrissey of St. Louis, Missouri entered eternal rest on Sunday, September 9, 2010 at Manor Grove in Kirkwood, Missouri, having attained the age of 101 years, 8 months and 18 days.
Born on December 24, 1908 in St. Louis, Missouri, she was the daughter of John Joseph and Rose (Coffee) Newport. She married John Morrissey at St. James Church in 1936 and he preceded her in death.
Mrs. Morrissey was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John, three brothers and two sisters.

Surviving are her nieces, nephews and many friends.

Friends may call at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in St. Louis on Thursday, September 16, 2010 from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M.

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery in St. Louis.
The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt is in charge of arrangements.
