Rose Mary Sturm of Caseyville, Illinois entered eternal rest on Friday, January 9, 2015 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois having attained the age of 89 years and 4 days.

Born on January 5, 1926 in East St. Louis, Illinois, she was the daughter of Harry and Elizabeth Schlattweiler, nee Bresnahan. She was united in marriage to George Sturm and he preceded her in death.
Preceding her in death besides her husband, George, were her parents; her brother, Robert Schlattweiler; her sister, Dorothy Strayhorn and her nephew, Steve Strayhorn.
Surviving are her brothers, Harold (Rita) Schlattweiler of Belleville, Illinois and Bernard (Bev) Schlattweiler of Lafayette, Indiana; her brother-in-law, Lee Strayhorn of Lebanon, Illinois; her sister-in-law, Betty Schlattweiler of Millstadt, Illinois and thirteen nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. Clare of Assissi Catholic Church Building Fund and will be received at the funeral home.

Friends may call on Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.. at St. Clare of Assissi Catholic Church in O'Fallon, Illinois.

A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the church with Father Jim Dieters officiating. Private interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
