Robert Glenn Bartling

Robert Glenn Bartling, 67 of Pontoon Beach, IL passed away on Wednesday August 25, 2021 at Gateway Regional Hospital in Granite City, IL. Robert was born on July 13, 1954 in Granite City, IL to Glenn T. and Annabelle Bartling and they precede him in death. Robert was also preceded in death by his brother, Rick Bartling.

Robert was a talented musician and play in the band, The Passengers for many years. He then worked for many years in auto parts sales. Most important to Robert was spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons; Timothy (fiancé, Crystal Webb) Bartling of Collinsville, IL and Brian Bartling of St. Jacob, IL. His brother, Andrew (Mary) Bartling of St. Louis, MO and his grandchildren; Chloe and Austin Bartling of Collinsville, IL in addition to his extended family and many beloved friends.

Memorial contributions in memory of Robert may be directed to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
