Rita Pearl Gale of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at the Geitner Home in St. Louis having reached the age of 88 years, 7 months and 25 days.

Born in England on November 23, 1921, she was the daughter of George and Rosina Bluck. She married George Smith in St. Louis, Missouri and he preceded her in death.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George and a daughter Lesley Edmondson.
Surviving are her daughter, Priscilla Stotts of Florida; two grandchildren, Lesley (Brian) Plate of Arnold, Missouri and Crystal (Patrick) Roderman of House Springs, Missouri; her great-grandchildren, Amanda Thiel, Elora Thiel, Brittany Bordoli, Phillip Schwartz and Shauna Thomas and many friends.

Friends may call on Friday, July 23, 2010 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 noon at the Chulick Funeral Home in St. Louis, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 23, 2010 at 12:00 noon at the Chulick Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.

The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
