Richard Spearman, Jr.

Richard Spearman, Jr. of Belleville, Illinois passed away on Friday, June 30, 2017 at Mercy Rehab and Care Center in Swansea, Illinois, having attained the age of 57 years, 7 months and 29 days.
Born in Mt. Vernon, Illinois on October 31, 1959, he was the son of Richard and Katie Spearman, Sr., nee Herrod.
Richard was an over the road truck driver and a member of Path of Life Church in Cahokia, Illinois.
Preceding him in death were his father, Richard Spearman, Sr.; his brother, Jimmy Spearman and his grandfather, Jimmy Lee Spearman, Sr.
Surviving are his mother, Kathie Lee (James) Dargan; his daughter, La-Keyla Spearman of Marion, Illinois; his granddaughter, Jaelynn Danae Spearman of Marion, Illinois; his sisters, Dorothy "Dottie" Spearman of Maryville, Illinois and Beverly Austin of Minneapolis, Minnesota, nieces, nephews and many friends.
A celebration of life for the Spearman family will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Forest Park in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.
A celebration of life for his local friends and his mother and step-father will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Path of Life Church in Cahokia, Illinois.
The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is assisting the family.
