Richard Lee Miller of Festus, Missouri passed away on Friday, May 20, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Festus, having attained the age of 53 years, 7 months and 29 days.

Born in Logansport, Indiana on September 21, 1957, he was the son of Lewis and Phillis, nee Ehler, Miller. He was united in marriage to Susanna Weese on November 5, 1977 in Logansport, Indiana.

He was an office worker at White-Rodgers.

Preceding him in death were his father and his son-in-law, Michael Landon.

Surviving are his wife, Susanna Miller of Festus, Missouri; his mother, Phillis Miller; his children, Jessica Landon of Festus, Missouri and Matthew (Ann) Miller of Hillsboro, Missouri; his sisters and brothers, William (Kay) Miller of Woodridge, Illinois, Lewis (Cari) Miller of Plainfield, Illinois, Debra (Kim) Ellis of Independence, Missouri, Christopher (Christy) Miller of Mulberry, Florida, Joellen (Kenneth) Rich and Angela (Jose Mijerez) Miller, both of Plainfield, Illinois; his grandchildren, Michael Landon, Madison Miller and Keira Miller; his brother-in-law, Roy (Billie) Weese of Indianapolis, Indiana, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Friends may call on Monday, May 23, 2011 from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the Fey Funeral Home in Mehlville, Missouri. Memorials may be made to a college fund for his grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Fey Funera Home with Rev. Terry Delaney officiating. All other services will be private. The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
