Phyllis Diane Hoepfinger, nee McNabb, 85, of Millstadt, IL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday February 11, 2025, in Lebanon, IL. Phyllis was born on October 12, 1939, in St. Louis, MO to Dorsey and Helen (Starks) McNabb and her parents precede her in death. She was also preceded in death by most of her family including her beloved husband, Howard Hoepfinger, Sr. whom she married on April 4, 1970, her stepchildren, Holly Binkley and Howard Hoepfinger, Jr., her brother-in-law, Donald Paulsen and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Paulsen and Ethel Shirmer.

Phyllis worked as a registered nurse for her entire career. In her spare time, she loved to care for her many pets throughout the years. She was a devout Catholic and lived her faith. She will be remembered as a kind, loving person.

Left to cherish her memory are her nephews: Kurt Paulsen, Scott Paulsen, Perry Schirmer, great-nephew, Jared Paulsen, great-niece, Shannon Paulsen and step-daughter-in-law, Eilene Hoepfinger.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday February 22, 2025 at 11:30am at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery in Millstadt, IL with Fr. Evaristus Akabueze, presiding.
