Perry Lee Shelton of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Monday, December 19, 2011 at his home having reached the age of 58 years, 6 months and 29 days.

Born in East St. Louis, Illinois, he was the son of Basil and Ruby Jean, nee Baker, Shelton, Sr..
Mr. Shelton was a truck driver, a member of Villa Hills Assembly of God Church, the Teamsters Local and was a drummer with the Belleville Township High School West band.

Preceding him in death were his parents.
Surviving are his son, Andrew (Rebecca) Shelton of High Ridge, Missouri; his brother, Basil (Barbara) Shelton of Carlyle, Illinois; his sister, Teresa Lynn (Wayne) Green of Marissa, Illinois, nieces and nephews, Basil Shelton III, Wendy Shelton both of OFallon, Illinois, Michael (Ashley) Shelton of Destin, Florida, Ryan Shelton, Tiffany Shelton, both of Edwardsville, Illinois, Wayne Green, Jr. of Marissa, Illinois, Randy Green of Mission, Kansas and Daniel Green of Marissa, Illinois, cousins and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
