Pennie Mae Korte

Pennie Mae Korte, of Alton, Illinois, departed this life on Monday, May 29, 2017, at Integrity Healthcare of Godfrey, Illinois. Born in Marblehead, Massachusetts, on April 7, 1962, Pennie had attained the age of 55 years, 1 month, and 22 days.
Pennie was a Certified Nursing Assistant, and a member of Anchor of Hope Church. She married the love of her life, William "Bill" Korte in Bowling Green, KY on November 7, 2008.
Pennie was preceded in death by her loving father and mother, Edward Dunstan and Eleanor Dunstan (nee Ritchie).
In addition to her husband, Pennie is survived by her three children; Michael Leonard, Owensburough, KY, Daniel Leonard, Owensburough, KY, and Katie (Aaron) McMullin, Jonesburough, AR; her sister, Diane Leblanc, Homa, LA, and brother, Jack Dunstan, TX; and one precious grandchild, Connor Leonard of Owensburough, KY; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Cremation will be done through Creason Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held, privately, by the family, at a later date.
