Peggy Joan Marks

Peggy Joan Marks, nee Robinson, 73, of Cahokia, IL, passed away on Tuesday August 16, 2022, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, IL. Born on May 20, 1949, Peggy was the daughter of Melvin and Ruby Robinson, nee Radford and they precede her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son, Kristen Keys and her stepson, Francis M. Marks.

Peggy enjoyed spending time thrift store shopping (treasure hunting), decorating her home with all of her found treasures, reading all types of books and she loved to go camping at Lake St. Clair in Missouri. Peggy had a lifelong love of animals; her home was not complete without her beloved fur babies. She deeply loved her family and friends and cherished any time she could spend with them.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Francis (Frank) Marks, her daughter, Tina Sherrill, nee Keys (husband Donald), and her son, Robert “Scott” (Carla) Keys, stepdaughter, Tammy (Tom) McMannis, her sister Melody Causey and her brother Firmin Robinson. Her grandchildren: Joshua (fiancé Angela Layton) Sherrill, Zachary (Sandra) Sherrill and Justin Scott Keys in addition to many nieces, nephews, extended family and beloved friends.

The family is planning a memorial service for a future date.
