Paula Potter of Millstadt, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, having attained the age of 55 years and 24 days.
Born in East St. Louis, Illinois on November 26, 1961, she was the daughter of Richard Potter and Lois Potter.
She was a caregiver in home health care and a member of St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt, Illinois.
Preceding her in death were her grandparents.
Surviving are her son, Justin (Chelsea) Potter of Collinsville, Illinois; her mother, Lois Potter of Millstadt, Illinois; her father, Richard Potter of Freeburg, Illinois; her brothers, Richard Potter of Fenton, Missouri, John Potter of Columbia, Illinois and Mark Potter of Millstadt, Illinois; her sisters, Jodi Potter-Barker of Belleville, Illinois and Nicole Potter of Columbia, Illinois; her granddaughter, Joslynn Potter of Collinsville, Illinois; her good neighbor and friend, Connie; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Memorials may be made to the Society of St. Vincent De Paul and will be received at the funeral home.
Friends may call on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois.
A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt, Illinois with Monsignor Marvin Volk officiating. Interment will be private.
The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
