Morris James Harvey of Sparta, Illinois passed away on Monday, October 8, 2012 at his home having attained the age of 76 years, 4 months and 24 days.

Born in Oakdale Township, Washington County, Illinois on May 14, 1936, he was the son of Merill F. and Eva Mae Harvey, nee Shurtz.
Mr. Harvey was a mechanic and a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Preceding him in death were his parents.
Surviving are his children, Beth Harvey of Butternut, Wisconsin and Terry Harvey of Bowling Green, Kentucky; his brother, Terry Harvey of Coulterville, Illinois; his sister, Fern Clevenger of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Rex Shields, Toby Harvey, Terry Harvey, Jr. and Patty Brown; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Private services will be held at a later date.

The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
