Michael William Cole


Michael William Cole, 58, of Salem, Missouri passed away on Monday, September 8, 2008 at Jefferson Barraacks VA Medical Center.
Born in St. Louis on December 6, 1949, he was the son of the late Edward and Ida Mae (Brandaw) Cole. He was a tool and die fabricator, a Vietnam veteran, a member of Shannondale United Church of Christ, Timber, Missouri, a charter member of VFW Post Number VVA 611 and the Teamsters Union.

Mr. Cole is survived by his son, Anthony Michael Barr of Salem, Missouri; one brother, Edward A. Cole of Arizona and one sister, Pat Reed of Lander, Wyoming.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 12, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at Southern Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Fulk officiating. Burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full military honors.

Friends may call on Friday, September 12, 2008 at Southern Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. The family requests that memorials be made to Jefferson Barracks Hospice Unit.
