Michael “Mickey” Cole Robinett, 31, passed away at Mercy South Hospital in St. Louis, MO on Thursday, December 1, 2022, surrounded by his family and loved ones. Mickey was born in Belleville, IL on November 27, 1991 to Michele, nee Wheeler, Robinett and Tommy H. Robinett. He is preceded in death by his mother, Michele, nee Wheeler, Robinett, his maternal grandfather, Wayne Anderson, and his paternal grandfather, Jim Crawford.
Mickey was a huge fan of all things football and loved the Miami Dolphins. He was an avid fan of rap music and loved animals, especially dogs, having worked as a dog trainer for several years before switching gears and working as a commercial landscaper. Mickey was a devoted father to his children, Rhoen and Rilynn Robinett, a loving owner to his dear dog, Bug, and a beloved friend to many.
Left to cherish his memory are his father, Tommy H. Robinett, his brother Tommy W. Robinett, his sister, Autumn Pheiffer, his children, Rhoen Robinett and Rilynn Robinett, his aunt and uncle, Maury and Russ Giffin, cousin Brandon (Kirstin) Giffin, his paternal grandmother, Vera Crawford, his dog, Bug, in addition to many friends and extended family members.
Per his wishes, Mickey will be cremated, and the family will be holding a memorial gathering in his honor at the Shiloh Eagles Club, 100 Eagle Drive, Belleville, IL 62221, on Sunday, December 11, 2022 from 2-6pm.
Memorial donations in Michael’s honor may be directed to the Belleville Area Humane Society, 1301 South 11th Street, Belleville, IL 62226.
