Michael Lee Landon, Sr.



Michael Lee Landon, Sr. of Bloomsdale, Missouri passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2008 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He had attained the age of 30 years, 10 months and 21 days.

Born in St. Louis on January 9, 1978, he was the son of Jack and Ursula (Honaker) Landon. He married Jessica Miller on February 21, 1998 in St. Louis County.

Mr. Landon was a nurse at Woodland Nursing Home for five years.

Surviving his passing are his wife, Jessica Landon of Bloomsdale, Missouri; his parents, Jack and Ursula Landon of Big Cedar, Missouri; one son, Michael Lee Landon, Jr.; one brother, Billy (Amy) Landon of Pevely, Missouri; his father and mother-in-law, Richard and Sue Miller of Festus, Missouri and one uncle, Basil (Sandy) Honaker of St. Charles, Missouri.

Friends may call at the Southern Funeral Home on Thursday, December 4, 2008 from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Michael Landon, Jr. Education Fund.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 5, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at Southern Funeral Home with Father Richard Tillmann officiating. Interment will follow in Gateway Gardens Cemetery.
