Michael Edward Brueggeman

Michael Edward Brueggeman of Millstadt, Illinois passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at his home, having attained the age of 65 years, 6 months and 7 days.
Born in East St. Louis, Illinois on December 18, 1951, he was the son of Melvin Edward and Lorraine Mathilda Brueggeman, nee Ryan. He was united in marriage to Peggy Balough on October 23, 1976 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Belleville, Illinois and she survives his passing.
Michael was an auto parts distributor and a member of St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving are his wife, Peggy Brueggeman of Millstadt, Illinois; his children, Stacy Brueggeman of Millstadt, Illinois, Christina Brueggeman of Belleville, Illinois and Carly (Ben) Robertson of Millstadt, Illinois; his sister, Nancy (Tom) Powell of Belleville, Illinois and his grandchildren, Mylie Robertson and Mason Robertson.
Memorials may be made to the St. Clair County Humane Society.
Friends may call on Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt, Illinois.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the church with Monsignor Marvin Volk officiating.
