Maxine L. McKee

Maxine L. McKee of St. Louis passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at Alexian Brothers Lansdowne Village having attained the age of 89 years, 6 months and 27 days.

Born on January 28, 1920 in Desloge, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Enos and Elsie (Marler) Patterson. She married John F. McKee on June 7, 1941 in St. Louis and he preceded her in death.

Mrs. McKee was a member of St. Stephen Protomartyr Catholic Church.

Preceding her in death besides her husband, John and her parents were two sisters, Mildred Mullins and Dorothy McKee in childhood.

Left to mourn her passing are her son, David (Sue) McKee of St. Louis; her grandchildren, Kristen (Ranjan) Malhotra, Stacie (Russ) Durnil and Joshua (Sherry) McKee, all of St. Louis; her great-grandchildren, Rajiv, Milan, Maya, Fiona, Lola, Gabe and Andrew; nieces, nephews and many friends.

Friends may call on Thursday, August 27, 2009 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Southern Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 28, 2009 at 11:30 A.M. at Southern Funeral Home with Father Ron Hopmeir officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
