Mary 'Lou' Louise Boyer
Mary 'Lou' Louise Boyer of St. Louis, Missouri entered eternal rest on Friday, June 8, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family having attained the age of 80 years, 6 months and 14 days.
Born in Fletcher, Missouri, on November 24, 1931, she was the daughter of Marvin and Gertrude, nee James, Amsden. She married James H. Boyer on April 22, 1950, in Richwoods, Missouri.
Mrs. Boyer was a housewife, a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her children, Richard 'Rick' Boyer and Robert 'Bob' Boyer; her sisters Maxine (Peter) Rabbitt; and Margaret Amsden in childhood; her brothers, Joe Amsden and James Amsden in infancy; her son-in-law Russ Stone; and her brother-in-law, Glenn Boyer.
Left to mourn her passing are her children, Theresa 'Terry' (Thomas) Fitzgerald, James (Sally) Boyer, Jackie (Les Blumer) Spradling, Susan (Cal) Currinder, Sandy Stone, Thomas (Tammy) Boyer, Toni ( Bob Peth) Otis, and Tim (Melissa) Boyer all of St. Louis, Missouri; daughter-in-law, Pam Boyer of St. Louis, Missouri; brothers, Bill (Kathleen) Amsden of Farmington, Missouri, Tom (Jeanette) Amsden of DeSoto, Missouri, and John (Barb) Amsden of Festus, Missouri; sister-in-law, Yvonne 'Tootsie' (Ron) Sullivan of DeSoto, Missouri; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
The family would especially like to thank St Anthony Hospice and their entire staff for the wonderful care given to Lou.
Those wishing to give a memorial in Lous memory are asked to give to St. Anthonys Hospice or the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children.
A Memorial Mass will be held at a future date.
