Mary Elizabeth Auer passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 60 years.

Elizabeth served over 35 years in United States Government service with her final post being as District Director of the Wichita District Office of the U. S. Small Business Administration. She was a member of the Downtown Wichita Rotary Club and a graduate of Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
She was the beloved daughter of John Alfred and Helen Margaret (Meyer) Auer.

Elizabeth is survived by two brothers, John Alfred Auer, Jr. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and James Edward Auer of Franklin, Tennessee; nieces, Teresa Jane (Auer) Larson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Helen Meeyoung Auer of Shibukawa, Japan; nephews, Joseph Brian Auer of Portland, Oregon, Francis Teiichiro Auer of College Park, Maryland and Second Lieutenant John Edwin Auer, United States Marine Corps of Quantico, Virginia.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 7, 2008 as part of the Rotary Club of Downtown Wichita weekly meeting.
Burial will be in Sunland Memorial Park, Mortuary and Cremation Center in Sun City, Arizona.
