Mary Catherine Williams of Freeburg, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Oak Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Waterloo, Illinois having reached the age of 77 years, 2 months and 7 days.

Born in Chester, Illinois on May 26, 1933, she was the daughter of Catherine Jendron. She married James R. Williams, Sr. at St. Peters Cathedral in Belleville, Illinois and he preceded her in death.
Mrs. Williams was a switchboard operator for Carling Brewery and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Freeburg.
Preceding her in death besides her mother and her husband, James were a daughter, Janet Just; her sisters, Ruby, Edna, Mae and Mildred and her brother, Joe.

Surviving are her children, Patricia (Wayne) Riggs of Lexington, Kentucky and James R. Williams of Millstadt, Illinois; her grandchildren, Noah Williams, Kelly Just, Jamie Just, Jeremy Just and Kimberly Riggs; 8 great-grandchildren; special friends, Judy Krietler of Freeburg, Illinois and Carl Verges of Swansea, Illinois; nieces, nephews and many friends.

Friends may call on Thursday, August 5, 2010 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Ilinois. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be received at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 6, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at the Creason Funeral Home with Father Mark Reyling officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights.
