Mary A. Wunderlin of St. Louis, Missouri entered eternal rest on Friday, November 12, 2010 at DePaul Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 84 years, 2 months and 4 days.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri on September 8, 1926, she was the daughter of Frank and Frances (Kurowski) Podorski. She married John F. Wunderlin, Sr. on May 7, 1947 and he preceded her in death on February 17, 1988.

Mrs. Wunderlin was a telephone operator and a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Baden, Missouri.

Preceding her in death besides her parents and her husband, John, were her children, Ricky Wunderlin and Carol Nahm; her brothers, Frank Podorski and Tom Podorski and her sister, Dorothy Taylor.

Left to mourn her passing are her children, John (Rose) Wunderlin, Jr. of Marquand, Missouri, Linda (Bill) Fortner of Jennings, Missouri and Molly (Bob) Branch of Alamogordo, New Mexico; her sisters and brothers, Pat Brown of St. Peters, Missouri, Martin (Nancy) Podorski of Salem, Missouri, Gertie (Junior) Hall of Kirkwood, Missouri and Jerry Podorski of St. Charles, Missouri; her grandchildren, Barbie (Leonard) Betsch, Tina Kriz and Zach Rinehart, Erik Kestermeier, John (fianc, Chelsea) Kestermeier, Catherine (Chad) Cronin, Michael Branch, Jeremy Branch, Amy (Ryan) Reckman and Kevin Nahm; her great-grandchildren, Cole, Nina, Cody, Breanne, Sarah, Matt and Rachel; her nieces, nephews, special friends, Gladys and Bill Shelley and Franz and Jeannie Flath and many friends.

Friends may call on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Chulick Funeral Home, 5611 South Grand Boulevard, St. Louis, Missouri. Memorials may be made to Holy Cross Catholic Church and will be received at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Father Marek Bozek officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.

The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
