Marie Margaret Keck of Millstadt, Illinois entered eternal rest on Monday, August 27, 2018 at Freeburg Care Center in Freeburg, Illinois, having attained the age of 94 years and 16 days.
Born in Belleville, Illinois on August 9, 1924, she was the daughter of Elmer G. and Elsa M. Hettenhausen, nee Weichbrod. She was united in marriage to Donald R. Keck on June 8, 1947 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Millstadt, Illinois with Pastor August Dechman officiating and he preceded her in death on August 25, 1991.
Marie was a beautician and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Millstadt, Illinois, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, the Ladies Aid Society of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Millstadt Fire Department Auxiliary.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Donald R. Keck, her brother, Melvin (Juanita) Hettenhausen and her sister, Melba (Vernon) Linnemann.
Surviving are her children, Don (Linda Roschnafsky) Keck, Dennis (Cindy) Keck, both of Millstadt, Illinois and LaDonne (Greg) Witt of Crestwood, Missouri; her brother, Elmer (Sharon) Hettenhausen of Millstadt, Illinois; her grandchildren, Donald (Angela) Keck, Jr. of Belleville, Illinois, Tina (Kevin) Bechle of Columbia, Illinois, Amanda (Adam) Huber of Mascoutah, Illinois, Taylor Keck, Dylan Keck, Tara Keck, all of Millstadt, Illinois, Tiffany (Charles) Grellner of Affton, Missouri and Travis Witt of Farmington, Missouri; her great-grandchildren, Madeline Keck, Nicholas Keck, both of Belleville, Illinois, Samuel Bechle of Columbia, Illinois and Luke Grellner of Affton, Missouri, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Millstadt, Illinois.
Friends may call on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Millstadt, Illinois.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 9:30 A.M. at the church with Pastor Peter Ill officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
