Marguerite M. 'Margaret' Torigian



Marguerite M. 'Margaret' Torigian, 85 of Belleville, Illinois passed away on February 12, 2008 at Memorial Convalescent Center, Belleville. Margaret was born March 18, 1922 in Ontario, Canada the daugher of Harry and Berjouhe (Nezamian) Mooradian. She married Vincent S. Torigian and he preceded her in death along with her parents and a brother, Harry Mooradian.

Margaret was a self-employed seamstress and a member of St. Gregory Armenian Church.

Left to mourn her passing are her son, Vincent (Laureen) Torigian of Belleville, a daughter, Jeanette (Dick) Dostourian of Stanton, California and a sister-in-law, Isabel Torigian, four grandchildren, Michelle Torigian, Lori (Nick) Rogers, Leslie and Christopher Dostourian and one great-grandson, Jack Rogers.
Funeral services will be held on February 20, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at Mt. Hope Funeral Home, Belleville, with Archpriest Moushegh Der Kaloustian officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Belleville.

Friends may call at Mt. Hope Funeral Home from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. on February 19, 2008. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 P.M. Should friends desire memorials may be made to St. Gregory Armenian Church, Memorial Convalescent Center Activity Fund or Family Hospice.
