Louis Eather Turnbull, Jr., of Mascoutah, Illinois, died Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at his home surrounded by his family having attained the age of 60 years, 6 months, and 16 days. Louis was born on October 13, 1953, at Presque Isle Air Force Base, Maine, the son of Louis and Geraldine, nee White, Turnbull, Sr..
Louis married Arlene Marcus in Mascoutah on June 30, 1984. A veteran of the U.S. Army he was a professional truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine, and a son, Nathan.
In addition to his wife and father, Louis is survived by a daughter, Christina Turnbull, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, step-sons, Bill Piffner, of Belleville, Illinois, and Jeff (Robin) Piffner, of Lenzberg, Illinois,, a sister, Cynthia Minder, of Mascoutah, Illinois,, a brother, William (Janice) Turnbull, Dunedin, Florida,; granddaughter Angel Turnbull, and step-grandchildren Emma and Will Piffner, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Friends may gather at the Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt on Monday, May 5, 2014, at 11:00 A.M. Graveside Services with full military honors will be held on Monday at 12:30 P.M. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Creason Funeral Home, Millstadt is in charge of the arrangements.
