Lorraine Margaret Burke

Lorraine Margaret Burke of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018 at Mary Queen and Mother Center in St. Louis, Missouri, having attained the age of 89 years, 11 months and 26 days.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri on September 9, 1928, she was the daughter of Joseph R. and Rosalie McMullen, nee Fleck. She was united in marriage to William Thomas Burke on June 5, 1954 at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church in St. Louis, Missouri and he preceded her in death on January 10, 1957.

Lorraine was a legal secretary and a member of St. Stephen Protomarter Catholic Church.

Preceding her in death besides her parents and her husband, William Thomas Burke were her sister, Rose Marie Ambrose and her brother, Robert "Sam" McMullen.

Surviving are her sons, Michael Burke of St. Ann, Missouri and James (Lillian) Burke of Little Elm, Texas; her grandchildren, Aubrey (Brad) Rinesmith of Richmond Heights, Missouri, Brittany (Ashley Quiggle) Burke of St. Louis, Missouri, Marisala (Jeff) Payne of Woodlands, Texas, Susanna (Austin) King and Cristina Burke, both of Little Elm, Texas; her great-grandchildren, Burke Rinesmith, Bennett Rinesmith, both of Richmond Heights, Missouri, penny Payne of Woodlands, Texas and Georgia King of Little Elm, Texas, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Friends may call on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Chulick Funeral Home, 5611 South Grand Boulevard, St. Louis, Missouri and on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. at Saints Mary and Joseph Chapel, 6304 Minnesota Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at Saints Mary and Joseph Chapel in St. Louis, Missouri. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
