Loretta Mae Laird of St. Louis passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at her home having attained the age of 78 years, 4 months and 19 days.

Born on September 8, 1931 in Dearborn, Michigan, she was the daughter of William and Margie Mae (Jones) McCoy.

She was a factory worker at Jake and Evans for 35 years.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Surviving are her children, Ronald (Vickie) LaRue of Sullivan, Missouri and Richard (Betty Jean) LaRue of Crystal City, Missouri; two grandchildren, Stephen LaRue and fianc, Lacye Pettibone of Sullivan, Missouri and Kaylea (Ryan) Brousseau of Florida; eight great-grandchildren; one step-granddaughter, Theresa Buchheit, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Friends may call on Thursday, January 28, 2010 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Southern Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the donors choice.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 29, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Southern Funeral Home with Rev. James Self officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery in St. Louis.
