Lorene Klingenberg of Nashville, Illinois entered eternal rest on Monday, June 19, 2017 at Friendship Manor Nursing Home in Nashville, Illinois, having attained the age of 90 years, 2 months and 19 days.
Born in Beaucoup Township, Washington County, Illinois, she was the daughter of Albert and Alwina Brandt, nee Finke. She was united in marriage to Arnold Klingenberg on August 6, 1950 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville, Illinois.
She was a loving mother and grandmother, a housewife and a member of St. Pauls United Church of Christ in Nashville.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Arnold Klingenberg; her sister, Mildred Brandt; her brother, Marvin Brandt and her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Elva (Erwin) Lehde, Erma (Elroy) Steinkamp, Alma (Ardell) Moeller, Howard (Avis) Klingenberg and Norma Klingenberg.
Surviving are her children, Karen (James W.) Creason of Millstadt, Illinois, Joyce Klingenberg of Nashville, Illinois and Alan (Gwen) Klingenberg of Addieville, Illinois; her grandchildren, Krista (Terry) Delaney of Mexico, Missouri, Shanna (Frank) Auer of Franklin, Tennessee, Andrea Klingenberg of Salem, Illinois and Mallory Klingenberg of Columbia, Missouri; her great-grandchildren, Austin Delaney, Isaac Delaney, Nathanael Delaney, Sarah Delaney, Carolyn Delaney, Noah Auer, Sophia Auer and Charlotte Auer; her brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Harold Klingenberg of Freeburg, Illinois and Waldo (Alene) Klingenberg of Nashville, Illinois, nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorials may be made to St. Pauls United Church of Christ Cemetery Fund or the Alzheimers Association.
Friends may call on Friday, June 23, 2017 from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at St. Pauls United Church of Christ in Nashville, Illinois.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the church with Pastor Bev Kahle officiating. Interment will follow in St. Pauls United Church of Christ Cemetery in Nashville.
The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
