Kevin R. Stevens

Kevin R. Stevens of Cahokia, Illinois passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016 at St. Elizabeths Hospital in Belleville, Illinois, having attained the age of 59 years, 3 months and 10 days.
Born in East St. Louis, Illinois on September 9, 1957, he was the son of Everett and Helen Stevens, nee Brown.
Kevin was a laborer in the trucking industry and a member of Church of the Nazarene in Belleville, Illinois.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Surviving are his children, Shara (Donald Berube) Stevens of Troy, Illinois, Cherish Stevens of South Carolina and Richard Stevens of Cahokia, Illinois; his sister, Carol (James) Meng of Cahokia, Illinois; his "special brother", Richard Walker; his grandchildren, Olivia Berube, Zoey Berube, both of Troy, Illinois and Helen Stevens of South Carolina; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is assisting the family with arrangements.
