Kenneth Lee James, Sr. of Belleville, Illinois passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at his home, having attained the age of 58 years, 4 months and 4 days.
Born in Belleville, Illinois on October 15, 1958, he was the son of William and Yvonne James, Nee Waltemate. He was united in marriage to Bonita Decker in May of 1977 and she preceded him in death on November 18, 1999.
Kenneth was a salesman in the tire industry and the night clerk at the Millstadt Circle K.
Preceding him in death besides his wife, Bonita was his father, William James.
Surviving are his mother, Yvonne James of Smithton, Illinois; his children, Christina "Chrissy" (Chris Redd) James, Angela "Angie" (Mike) Cooper and Kenneth James, Jr., all of Belleville, Illinois; his brother, Bill (Connie) James of Belleville; his sister, Jodi Randolph of Millstadt, Illinois; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Michael, Jason, Morgan, Dean and Beau, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Memorials may be made to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 2:30 P.M. at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery in Millstadt, Illinois. A celebration of life will be held immediately following the graveside services at VFW Post 7980 in Millstadt, Illinois.
The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
