Kathryn Marie Thielemann
Kathryn Marie Thielemann of Millstadt, Illinois passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at her home, having attained the age of 58 years, 9 months and 20 days.
Born in Washington, D. C. on February 12, 1954, she was the daughter of Charles Elwood and Gail Patricia Fletcher, nee Kinsey. She was united in marriage to Jeffrey Thielemann on June 3, 1987 in Fairfax County, Virginia and he survives her passing.
Mrs. Thielemann was a member of the Military Wives Sponsorship Program, the American Cancer Society, a Special Olympics Volunteer and the head elf at Santas Workshop.
Preceding her in death were her parents and one son, James Thielemann.
Surviving are her husband, Jeffrey Thielemann of Millstadt, Illinois; her children, Sharon (Walter) Alvarado of Wilkes-Barre, North Carolina, Richard Vaughan of Millstadt, Illinois, Jeffrey Thielemann of Gonzales, Texas and Andres Garcia of Socorro, Texas; her sisters and brothers, Patricia Wolf of Atlanta, Georgia, Robert Fletcher of Peoria, Arizona, James 'Bubba' Winfield of Oldsmar,Florida and Gail Winfield of Mechanicsville,Maryland; her grandchildren, Melissa Alvarado, Kevin Alvarado, Walter Alavarado, Jr. and Yahir Alvarado, all of Wilkes-Barre, North Carolina; her great-granddaughter, Niece Alvarado of Wilkes-Barre, North Carolina; her best friends, Tera Rogers and Tina Snook; nieces, nephews and many friends.
Friends may call on Sunday, December 9, 2012 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 P.M. at Scottish Rite Bodies, 1549 Frank Scott Parkway, Belleville, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at 42:00 P.M. at Scottish Rite Bodies with Chaplain Kenneth Johnson officiating. All other services will be private.
The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
