Kathryn 'Kate Louisa Besse



Kathryn 'Kate Louisa Besse of Millstadt passed away on Monday, March 9, 2009 at her home. She had attained the age of 20 years, 4 months and 3 days.

Born in Belleville on November 6, 1988, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Mary Frances (Kozlowski) Besse.

Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Henry and Ruth Besse and Stanley Kozlowski.

Left to mourn her passing are her parents, Kenneth and Mary Frances Besse of Millstadt; her brothers and sisters, Brad Besse of St. Louis; Leah (Steve) Barbeau of Millstadt, Anna (Dave) Valentin of Belleville, Rob Besse, Therese (Tabby) Besse, Rachel Besse, Nick Besse, Christopher Besse, Jeff Besse, Luke Besse and Douglas Besse all of Millstadt; grandmother, Regina Kozlowski of St. Louis; niece, Lilly Barbeau; aunts, uncle, cousins and many friends.

Friends may call on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 P.M.

Memorials may be made to St. Vincent DePaul, Belleville West Memorial Scholarship and St. James Catholic Church.

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. at St. James Catholic Church with Monsignor Ted Wojcicki, Father Marvin Volk, Father Pat Peter and Father Ed Schaefer officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
