Kathleen Louise Bell of Caseyville, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the Caseyville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Caseyville, Illinois, having reached the age of 56 years, 7 months and 8 days.
Born on June 19, 1961 in Belleville, Illinois, she was the daughter of James Walter and Joan Schmutz, nee Spaller. She was united in marriage to James Walter Bell on December 27, 2002 and he preceded her in death.
Kathleen was a factory worker in the food industry and of the Baptist faith.
Preceding her in death were her father, her husband, her son, Michael Way Bell and her sister, Laura Walker.
Surviving are her son, Matthew W. (fiancee, Lucille Corbet) Bell of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; her mother, Joan Freeze; her sisters, Miranda (Dennis) Rush of Benton, Illinois, Virginia (Mike) Potts of Washington, Indiana, Mary Breitweiser of Granite City, Illinois and Carol (Emil) Zierenberg of Caseyville, Illinois; her brothers, James (fiancee, Nicole Schmutz) Schmutz of West Frankfort, Illinois and Joshua Hazel of Benton, Illinois; her grandchildren, Matthew Walter Bell, Jr. of Belleville, Illinois, Franklin R. Price of New Baden, Illinois and Samantha C. Price of Belleville, Illinois; nieces, nephews and many friends.
A memorial graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 1:15 P.M. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
