Joyce Ann Thielemann, of Cahokia, Illinois, died on Thursday, July 24, 2014, at her home surrounded by her family and friends. Joyce attained the age of 61 years, eleven months, and 8 days.
Joyce was born on August 16, 1952, in East Saint Louis, Illinois, the daughter of Norris J. 'Bud' and Florence Thielemann, nee Swiderski.

Joyce was a floral designer for Michaels. She was a graduate of Hickey Business College.
Joyce was preceded in death by her mother, and one son, Matthew Thielemann.

She is survived by her father 'Bud' (Jenny) Thielemann of Ava, Illinois; three children, Annemarie (Chad Vasquez) Simmonds, of Valmeyer, Illinois, Christie (Raymond) Holcomb, of Cahokia, Illinois, and Thomas (Chelsey DeRosset) Hoock II, of Saint Louis, Missouri; one sister, Nancy (Richard) Hayes, of Ava, Illinois; three brothers, Rick Thielemann, of Eat Carondelet, Illinois, Ronald (Patricia) Thielemann, of Mulberry Grove, Illinois, and Billy Thielemann, of Ava, Illinois; a step sister, Michelle (Don) ells, of Columbia, Illinois; a step-brother, Jim (Cathy) Hamann, of Independence, Missouri; 15 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; a goddaughter, Michelle (Kenny) Mathews, of Columbia, Illinois; long-term companion, Mark Thielemann of Cahokia, Illinois, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorials be given to the family and will be received by the funeral home.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at the Creason Funeal Home, Millstadt, Illinois.
Funeral Services will be at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at the funeral home.
