Joseph Franklin 'Joe F.' Williams



Joseph Franklin 'Joe F.' Williams of St. Louis passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at the age of 73 years. Born on July 22, 1934 in Caruthersville, Missouri, he was the son of Joe and Nora (Mayo) Williams.

He married Daisy Wood on October 27, 1958 in Caruthersville and she survives.

Left to mourn his passing along with his wife, Daisy, are two sons, Joseph L. (Melanie) Williams of Woodbine, Kansas and Charles (Brandy) Williams of Fenton, Missouri; three daughters, Mary (David) Level of St. Louis, Tammie (Mark) Heun of St. Louis and Sandra (Jerry) Bladdick of Fenton, Missouri; two sisters, Leila Mae Dungeon and Emily E. Williams of St. Louis, twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Billy, in infancy, along with his parents.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. from Southern Funeral Home, 6322 South Grand. Interment will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

Friends may call from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 4, 2008. Memorials may be made to Vista Hospice and will be received at the funeral home.
