Joann Viola McDonald of Red Bud, Illinois passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017 at Red Bud Care Center in Red Bud, Illinois, having attained the age of 66 years, 6 months and 4 days.
Born in St. Louis, Missouri on September 23, 1950, she was the daughter of Bruno and Lorraine Stelmach, nee Wagner.
Joann was a housekeeping supervisor in a nursing home.
Preceding her in death were her parents and her brother, Michael Stelmach.
Surviving are her children, Michael (Kim) Russell of Arnold, Missouri, Eric McDonald and Malissa McDonald, both of Red Bud, Illinois; her brother, Gary Stelmach of St. Louis, Missouri; her sister, Pam (Al) Bennett of St. Louis, Missouri; her grandchildren, Ally (Nathan) Tacony of Cedar Hill, Missouri, Greg Russell of St. Louis, Missouri, Anthony McDonald of Marissa, Illinois, Landon McDonald of Millstadt, Illinois and Jayden McDonald of East St. Louis, Illinois; her great-grandchildren, Joey Russell of St. Louis, Missouri and Ellie Tacony of Cedar Hill, Missouri; her sister-in-law, Nona Stelmach of Fenton, Missouri, nieces, nephews and many friends.
All services will be private.
The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
