Joan Elizabeth Hopper

Joan Elizabeth Hopper of Caseyville, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Highland Health Care Center in Highland Illinois, having attained the age of 67 years, 3 months and 22 days.

Born in East St. Louis, Illinois, she was the daughter of William and Everon Lipe, nee Chancey. She was united in marriage to John Hopper on June 1, 1990 in Belleville, Illinois and he preceded her in death on August 26, 2017.

She was employed as a medical accountant in a physicians office.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Surviving are her children, Dale (Mary) Lipe of Staunton, Illinois, Mary Meadows of Glen Carbon, Illinois and Keith Hopper of Belleville, Illinois; her brothers, William (JoAnn) Lipe of New Baden, Illinois and James Lipe of Belleville, Illinois; her grandchildren, Adrian (David) Odle of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Kate Lutz of Troy, Illinois; her great-grandchildren, Caroline Odle, Caitlyn Odle, Caleb Odle and Penny Lutz; her best friend, Linda Sutherland of Caseyville, Illinois, nieces, nephews and many friends.

All services will be private.
