Jeri Marie Marable

Jeri Marie Marable, nee Maurer, 73 of Swansea, Illinois passed away peacefully at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon, Illinois on Monday September 7, 2020. Jeri was born on April 8, 1947 in Belleville, Illinois to Leroy and Bernetta "Mickey" Maurer, nee Kruase and they precede her in death.

Left to cherish her memory are her children; Tammy Tobin of Belleville, Illinois, Tara Marable (fiancé' Jeremy Gwinn) of Smithton, Illinois, Amanda (Darcus) Bradley of Texas and Shane Smith of St. Louis, Missouri; her brother, Bob Maurer of North Carolina and her grandchildren; Danny Tobin, B.J. Tobin, Jera Wykoff, Kylie Gwinn, Anthony Bradley, Joshua Carter, K.J. Reed, Maddie Bradley, Kaden Bradley and Dahlia Smith as well as two great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, extended family and beloved friends.

Jeri was a loving homemaker and was a beloved, welcoming mom to all who knew her. She loved to play bingo in her free time and cherished every moment spent with her friends and family. Jeri made the generous gift of life-saving tissue upon her death to Mid America Transplant Services. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. The children of Jeri would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Mercy Care and Rehab for the exceptional care that was given to their mother.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Mid America Transplant Foundation.
