Jane Ellen Simmons

Jane Ellen Simmons, of East Carondelet, Illinois, died on Saturday, September 2, 2017, at Memorial Hospital of Belleville. Jane was born on October 14, 1945, in Saint Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Robert and Helen, nee Russell, Hale.
Jane was a full-time wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Angie Gamble, and a brother, Billy Hale.
Jane is survived by the love of her life, Roger Simmons, to whom she married on September 9, 1967, in Dupo. Her children Cindy (Mike Belosi) Simmons, of Saint Louis, Missouri, and Karen (Mark) Totra. Of East Carondelet, Illinois.; her brother, Keith Hale, her sister, Ruth Ann Simmons, eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Those wishing to make a donation in Janes memory are asked to donate to the family to help with the bills from her last illness.
There will be a memorial service at a date and time yet to be determined.
