James Michael 'Mike' Chitty

James Michael 'Mike' Chitty of Bethalto, Illinois passed away on Friday, October 4, 2013 at his home having reached the age of 60 years and 25 days.

Born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on September 19, 1953, he was the son of Henry Allen and Lillie Belle Chitty, nee Lattie.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving are his children, Brandi (Kent) Sheppard of Spring, Texas, James Chitty, Jr. and Nichole Coad, both of Bethalto, Illinois; his brother and sisters, Hank (Glenda) Chitty of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Casey (Angie) Chitty of Gore, Oklahoma, Alana Casteel, Sherida (Thomas) Bear, both of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Lance (Becky) Chitty of Savanna, Oklahoma and Terry (Charles) Tudor of Rhinelander, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Logan Williams of Bethalto, Illinois, Trevor Sheppard, Tanner Sheppard and Kendyl Sheppard, all of Spring, Texas, nieces, nephews, special friend, Pam Coad of Bethalto, Illinois and many other friends.

All services will be private.

The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
